12th July 2017		That was Basingstoke Live!
		We had a blast playing on the Main Stage at Basingstoke Live on Sunday - thanks to all who came to see us and thanks to all involved in organising this brilliant family festival, it's great to see that they promote original live music and as well as playing we enjoyed watching other original bands such as Green Embers, Marvin and the Hang Gliders and Original Jack. 		On Tuesday Dave and Aleem went to Blast Radio in Reading College to discuss our new album and play a few tracks. 11th October 2015		What a gig at the Spice of Life!
		Thanks to all who came to see us last night at The Spice of Life in London - we had a great time and were blown away by the reception and fantastic atmosphere. The other bands playing were excellent - all in all a great night! We're going to do some recording next but we may pop up with a gig or two from time to time - so watch this space!

5th June 2015		Ch-ch-ch-changes
		We're pleased to announce that Mike Hislop has joined the band on bass replacing John Cunnison. Finding a replacement for John has not been easy but Mike has great ability and a similar set of influences so he's a great find! So for now the band are working on honing their exciting live set as well as new ideas. Watch this space for gig news!

		So that was another fantastic Guilfest! We'd like to thank Tony Scott and his team for another great festival, it's great that Guilfest continues to provide a wide range of music to suit all tastes, including original rock (which, of course, we play!). We had a blast playing on the Main Stage, we'd like to thank all of our fans who came to see us! Photos and videos coming soon!
12th July 2014		New Release - 3x3!
		We're pleased to announce our new release- "3x3". 3x3 are three tracks that we're very proud of, each track illustrates a different aspect of the band. "Occupy" is a catchy rock tune with a chorus that we hope will occupy a space in your brain :-). "Information Overload" is more reflective but also catchy and "Autumn" is over 5 minutes of alternate rock with prog overtones. We enjoyed recording them all and hope you love them too. In future we hope to release additional 3x3 releases and maybe in the end combine them into a traditional album :-) 3x3 is available at most digital distribution outlets, including itunes Amazon Bandcamp

		We're pleased to announce that our new 5-track EP will be available soon - here's a taster video we've put on You Tube Click here to see video on You Tube . Recorded in August at Hurst Studios (co-produced with Damon Sawyer) and mastered in September by Sean Lynch it's a mixture of the old and new - we've re-recorded some favourites such as "The Zone", "Which Path" and "Don't Change" and added in some newer songs such as "Revelation" and our brand new song "In Any Other Way". We feel this a real step-up in terms of quality - hope you enjoy them!
24th July 2011		The Zone at Guilfest 2011"
		Well, it rained but it was still great fun! The Zone took to the stage last Sunday (17th July) with rain clouds overhead. The opening song "Revelation" was well received by an enthusiastic audience followed by "Just A Song". By the third song, "The Time We Have" it was already raining but a core-set of Zoners remained to clap and cheer through to end. The fourth song was "Which Path" followed by "Don't Change" and with "The Zone" see on You Tube here as a finale the Zoners sounded every bit as loud as the crowd who had first cheered before the rain. 		The Zone are pleased to announce that they are playing on the "Good Time Guide Stage" at Guilfest 2011. They will be playing on the final day of the three-day festival set in Stoke Park in Guilford. Headlining this stage on the same day are Public Image Ltd. The band are excited to be playing Guilfest for the third consecutive year and feel that with the bigger stage they will have a chance to show off their songs and ability to a larger crowd. 		The Zone are pleased to announce that Rob Hayter is their new drummer. Rob, who has played for bands such as "The Sanctions", "Hard To Handle" and "The Prescence" said "I felt we all have a similar playing style ('attack, attack, attack') which in time will morf into a very high-energy and tight live set with suitable peaks and valleys. A tight classic rock power trio with a touch of madness.....'shock and awe". Dave and John were unanimous in saying that "Rob is a very capable and experienced drummer who will help the band progress to the next level".
